Symposium, here I come!

23 05 2013

Will all my quilt samples, fabric, instructions, and chocolates fit in this suitcase, or shall I find a larger suitcase?

“Chocolates?” you may ask. Of course. Quilting students need sweets when they have sewn for 2 hours straight and energy is flagging!

I am very excited to be included in the line up of instructors for the North Carolina Quilt Symposium this year. It will be fun to share my patterns with some new quilt friends. I’ll teach “Get the Point?,” “Black Forest Christmas,” and “Monkey Shines.”

I can’t wait to check into the Methodist University campus apartment accommodations and meet my suitemates: Sharon Schamber, Amy Stewart Winsor, and Mary Eha. It will be fun to arrange my classroom and to reconnect with long time friends, Marie and Linda.

Symposium, here I come!
