“Italian Villa” is a mystery quilt I designed about a year and a half ago. Tashera taught it, clue by clue, at the Patch Multi-Crafts Center in Stuttgart in the fall of 2012.
Pictured are Linda and I with her finished quilt which I quilted for her.
When she mailed me the quilt top, she wrote, “Wouldn’t it be neat to enter the quilt in the North Carolina State Fair?” Yes, it would be neat . . . and it would add just a little pressure to the longarm quilter to do an extra nice job. Here’s a close-up of one of the quiliting designs.
Linda finished binding “Italian Villa” in time to enter it in the fair in the “Duet” category. We won an Honorable Mention ribbon! We are very excited, and Linda is duly proud of her spectacular quilt!
