“Cutting Up” at Tarheel Quilters Guild

21 01 2014

This past Sunday I was invited to speak at the monthly meeting of the Tarheel Quilters Guild. I gave my lecture, “Cutting Up,” to over 80 quilters! I shared several innovative cutting techniques and showed quilts to illustrate the methods.

Pictured below is “Presto Change-O!” made with 2 packs of 5″ Charm Squares (40 each). The innovation is transforming a straight set quilt into a quilt with blocks/squares on point.

Presto Changeo

Thanks, TQG, for being a receptive audience. Now be brave, and start “cutting up!”
