“Brick-A-Brack” Published

8 03 2014

Great news . . . my quilt was published in the April/May 2014 issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts!

This lovely lap quilt features “radiant orchid,” the color of the year. Would you believe all the fabrics came from my stash? I enjoyed the challenge of selecting various textures and shades of orchid, purple and majenta. Striped, mottled, floral, tone-on-tone and plaid–all work well together in this planned scrappy quilt.

This is a quick and easy project . . . with no triangles! You need 10 fat quarters and about 1 1/2 yds. background fabric as well as binding and backing fabric.

If your fabric shop has sold out of Quick Quilts, click here to order on-line.

Will you make a “radiant orchid” Brick-A-Brack quilt or some other color?
