Braided River Quilt Guild, Workshop

26 03 2014

Tuesday morning, March 25, dawned bright and early for the 20 plus workshop participants. For six hours, we sewed, chatted, and enjoyed lunch in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Papillion, NE. What a roomy, well-lit space! Check out the Braided River Quilt Guild’s website here.

Some worked on “Pinwheel Play,” while others opted for “Monkey Shines.” (Find the link for “Monkey Shines,” a free Layer, Cut, Swap, and Sew pattern on my Patterns page.) After I demonstrated layering fat quarters and cutting both designs, the ladies hurried to their tables and began to work.
