As I wrote in a previous blog post, my quilt, “Brick-A-Brack” was published in the April/May 2014 issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts.
Since its publication, several subscribers have made the quilt. I am thrilled to show you their projects!
Sally used fat quarters of cowboy and cowgirl fabrics from her stash. I love the diagonal arrangement of the rectangles by color. Sally plans to give the quilt to a charitable group who will gift it to a child who needs a warm hug.
Cheri modified the design to make a narrow quilt for her dad who now resides in a nursing home.
Marge made three “Brick-A-Brack” quilts. Yes, it really is that fun and easy! The all red version would be a great textile decoration for Christmas and Valentine’s Day.
The light background fabric for the all blue version is buttercup yellow.
Marge’s scrappy version is just plain fun! The border looks like a playful fence, doesn’t it? Marge also gives many of her lap quilts to those in need.
Karlyn collected green and purple fat quarters to make a quilty gift for her sister-in-law’s birthday.
Here is Karyla’s quilt in muted browns and blues.
What about you? Are you collecting 10 fat quarters to make “Brick-A-Brack?”
