“Slant Six” Mystery QAL, Clue #1

Are you all set to begin the “Slant Six” mystery Quilt-A-Long? Have you selected your fabrics? I bet you found some of the yardage in your stash; the yardage requirements are moderate since we are making lap quilts.

You will find a link to Clue #1 on the Mystery Quilt page of this blog. Hurry and print the document so you can begin!

Clue#1 is all about making a swatch chart, cutting your fabric, and organizing the fabric for each clue.

Here is a picture of my swatch chart. It’s hard to see my Fabric 5 because it is white just like the paper. I attached snippets of the selvages with a glue stick to the Clue #1 page of instructions.

Here is a picture of my gallon size re-closable bags labeled for each of the 4 clues.

Let the mystery begin . . . I’m ready. How about you?

Clue #2 will be posted on July 1st. In the meantime, be a Super Sleuth and try to figure out how the strips in Bag 1 will be sewn . . . and cut . . . and sewn.
