“Row by Row Experience” in Fredericksburg

8 07 2014

This past weekend hubby and I drove to Virginia for a family reunion. By leaving at 6 a.m. we beat some of the  holiday traffic. By the time we reached Fredericksburg, we were a few minutes ahead of schedule, so I pulled into the parking lot of the Quilting and Sewing Center off of Plank Road (Route 3). The Center is participating in the “Row by Row Experience,” a nation-wide shop hop.

Isn’t their row sweet and spring-y?

The clerk told me that the inspiration for their row was the slogan “Virginia is for lovers.” There are two love birds, two sets of two flowers, and two gold fish.

Since I had not visited the Quilting and Sewing Center in a couple of years, it was a good opportunity to look around the shop and note their fabric selection. In addition to blenders and batiks, they had Oriental fabrics and some unusual black and white fabrics.

Have you checked on-line for the nearest shop participating in the “Row by Row Experience?”
