Exciting news! Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks from Today’s Top Designers has hit the newsstands, and my block “Intersections” is included in the collection!

If your local book and magazine seller does not offer Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, you can order it directly from the website. Click the icon above for the link.

My local quilt shop, Loving Stitches, is sponsoring a magazine signing event on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in conjunction with their holiday sales. If you live locally, please stop by between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Nov. 29. Bring your copy of the magazine or purchase one at Loving Stitches.

For the competition, I submitted two blocks, in different colorways.

And I made a quilt with nine blocks in Civil War reproduction fabric. The quilt is pictured in the Designer’s Gallery in the front of the magazine and will hang in the Quiltmaker gallery in Golden, Colorado for several months.

In conjuction with the release of Volume 10, Quiltmaker is sponsoring a week long blog tour. My day for the tour is Wednesday, November 19. Mark your calendar to participate in the blog tour. By leaving comments on the featured blogs and on the Quiltmaker blog, you could win a free copy of the magazine or other quilt related prizes.
