Are you getting excited about owning a copy of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, Vol. 10 and trying the new designs?
The block I’m featuring today is my rendition of #999, “Diamonds Are Forever.” It was designed by Sharon Work who collaborates with Evonne Cook on Clothesline quilts (clotheslinequilts.com).
I love the diamond motif in this block which shows up nicely even though I used a medium value paisley print. If I made a quilt with 9 or 12 or 20 “Diamonds Are Forever” blocks, a great secondary design (like Shoo Fly) could be formed by the corner half square triangles and sashing with cornerstones.
