Happy Valentine’s Day!

14 02 2016

Today is the perfect day for me to share Stacy’s quilt; it’s a Heart Day quilt made with Reds, Pinks, and Grey.

“Here’s a picture of my king sized Valentine’s Day quilt! I think it counts as a good fat quarter buster! The directions on this one are so simple. I used 5 inch squares, and the grid is 20 by 20 blocks. I used all one background, the grey, but it would really use up more fat quarters if the background were also scrappy. It used about 17 fat quarters of the pinks and reds! It was a simple quilt to sew, but rewarding because it sews up quickly! Now to have it quilted….=}”

Thanks, for accepting the Fat Quarter challenge and for sharing your quilt, Stacy. You definitely “win the prize” for using the most FQs in a quilt!

Tomorrow I’ll share several ways I used FQs in February. And we re-set the clock; it’s time for you to jump into our open-ended Quilt Along and use your Fat Quarters!
