Car trip project–

I am cutting partially used 2 1/2″ strips into 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles and squares: 2 1/2,” 2,” 1 3/4,” and 1 1/2.” The stack of squares in the upper left are already matched for Nine Patches; I will add four light neutral squares later.

I’m looking forward to seeing where you’re going with this project! My travel project is a hand embroidery, with some applique. It’s a long term project, but sometimes those are good! =}

I cut 3 1/4″ x 12″ Christmas fabrics and am pressing them to make Scandinavian Fabric Stars in the car tomorrow on the way to granddaughter’s birthday celebration.

I would have never thought to use my rotary cutter in the car!!! Impressed! Since I’m my only driver I guess driving is my favorite project. I do like to listen to audio books.

I am amazed at how much you can do in the car! I usually read or watch the scenery because I just constantly poke myself with the needle when I try to sew in the car. I tried cross stitching but even with the duller needles I use for that I just poked myself too much.
