Vintage Farm Girl Progress

23 12 2016

These are the final seven 6″ blocks needed for the lap quilt I began this summer. For most of the blocks, I followed the excellent instructions in Lori Holt’s book, Vintage Farm Girl.

As the year’s end approaches, I am motivated to complete this project, because I am sure to soon discover new quilts that capture my attention!

Which Works in Progress are you motivated to finish soon?

I started this same project over Thanksgiving weekend. I only have 16 blocks done. I’m digging it out again this weekend while hubby works in his woodshop. I’m also plugging away on a BOM.

I made these blocks last year, then set it aside. Need to get it back out and sew my blocks together. Maybe I’ll add it to my UFOs to be finished list. Are you working on the Bonnie Hunter mystery this year? I was keeping up until last week. Hoping to find some quiet time to catch up over the next few days.

These blocks are just darling :o) I believe this is my favorite “look” for quilts.
