Congratulations to Sarah Y. for winning a free magazine! Her name was drawn from those of you who commented “Done” for September’s block design, “Ribbon Star.” I am so proud of the 20-plus quilters who are keeping up with the Quilt Along schedule. Keep up the great work!
I’m already receiving photos of October’s blocks, “Old Maid’s Puzzle” or “School Girl’s Puzzle.” Marie, one of my pattern testers, says this design goes together quickly and easily. Be encouraged; you can do this!
Marianne K. also finished her blocks – all in blue. Oooops! she realized too late that she left out some of the triangles but promised to read the instructions more carefully next time. No problem, Marianne, variations of a theme are always interesting and acceptable!
Maureen G. says she is nearly caught up and sent a picture of the blocks she has completed thus far.
Remember to check Instagram #sistersqal for more pictures of QAL participants’ blocks.
